barenboim-said akademie
Mozart Auditorium
Since 2015, young musicians from the Middle East, North Africa, and other countries have been studying at the Barenboim-Said Akademie, an institution of higher music education in Berlin. The Akademie and the Pierre Boulez Saal are jointly housed in a former set storage building of the Staatsoper Unter den Linden. In addition to the popular series of Academy Concerts, which take place in the Pierre Boulez Saal about six to eight times per season, students also regularly present small chamber music programs in the Mozart Auditorium, which seats approximately 80 people.
